Dry Season Travel Itineraries by Weather

Tropical and equatorial itineraries timed to each destination's dry season, using real precipitation data to find the months with reliably lower rainfall.

Near the equator, temperature stops being a useful travel signal — Bangkok in January and Bangkok in July sit within a few degrees of each other. What actually changes through the year is rainfall, and it changes a lot. These itineraries are built around each destination's dry season: the stretch of months when rain days and monthly precipitation drop meaningfully below the rest of the year, so outdoor plans, hikes, and multi-city routes are easier to commit to in advance.

A dry season isn't the same thing as ideal weather everywhere, and 'drier' varies by destination — Bali's dry season (roughly April through October) sees mostly scattered showers, while parts of the Amazon basin never fully dry out, they just get somewhat less soaked. Every itinerary here includes real precipitation data for each stop, not just a seasonal label, so you can weigh the actual tradeoff — occasional afternoon rain versus daily downpours — before you book.
